Is it true shade and sub-size variation is inherent in all ceramic tiles?
Ceramic tile are made from elements of the earth; clay, sand and minerals. Just as these materials vary in their natural form, the end result after mixing, processing and kiln firing will also produce variations in colour and size of the tiles within a batch, and more so from batch to batch.
For this very reason, technical specifications, including the co-efficient of friction, may exhibit slight variations from tile to tile and even from test to test. Test results disclosed in this brochure are typical but not guarantees of minimum or maximum thresholds of performances.
