Problem : Irregular surface (Tiles are not level)

• Probable Causes :
  • Poor flatness due to inferior tile quality
  • Poor workmanship
  • Uneven support surface
  • Adhesive not spread effectively
  • Tiles not tapped properly into position
• Prevention :
  • Lay tiles with open joints.
  • Careful installation: from preparation of tile bed and spreading of bond coat to application of tiles.
  • Ensure tiles are of good quality
