Problem : Crazing / (Fine hairline crack, either circular or random on tiles. Almost all tiles from the same batch will be affected. Fine hairline crack in area near entrance, corners and around columns. The hairline crack pattern is usually directional and continuous across tiles.

• Probable Causes :
  • Glaze and tile body do not fit.
  • High moisture expansion of tile.
  • High shrinkage of adhesive.
  • Absence of perimeter joint.
• Prevention :
  • Use craze resistant tiles.
  • Use tiles with minimal moisture expansion.
  • Follow correct installation method.
